Posted by: Adam Binnie October 6, 2011 I heard a story on The Daily Show that a government analyst had predicted that Solyndra, a government-backed manufacturer, would go bankrupt when it did. My first thought was, “I wonder what tool they were using;” my second was “hopefully there’s a reward for accurately predicting that outcome.” However, perhaps the real question is, “how could that amazing and accurate insight not have stopped the government from backing the company?”
